Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Velora ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Velora is a self-awareness and personal insight application. The App generates personalized readings based on pattern analysis derived from your birth details. These readings are intended for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

Velora is not:

  • A substitute for professional psychological, medical, or financial advice
  • A fortune-telling or prediction service
  • A scientifically validated assessment tool

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate birth details for the App to function as intended.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

  • Access to daily insight summaries, basic archetype profile, and phase overview.
  • Some features are limited or locked.

Premium Subscription

  • Unlocks full lifecycle map, deeper archetype analysis, advanced compatibility readings, and additional insights.
  • Available plan options and current pricing are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by storefront, region, taxes, or promotional offer.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
  • If available in the app, you can also use the Restore Purchases action to resync your entitlement state.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not process refunds directly.

5. User Content

  • Birth details and compatibility data you provide remain yours.
  • By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of generating your personalized readings.
  • We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or algorithms
  • Share or redistribute generated readings for commercial purposes
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits
  • Use automated tools to access or scrape the App

7. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, content structure, narrative engine, archetype system, and user interface, is owned by Velora and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Generated readings are created for your personal use and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
  • The underlying chart analysis system is proprietary.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Readings will be accurate, complete, or applicable to your life decisions
  • Results from using the App will meet your expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velora and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
  • Account deletion is permanent. Your data will be removed from our servers.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
