Velora ("we," "our," or "us") is a self-awareness app that uses pattern-based analysis to provide personalized insights about your identity, timing, relationships, and personal growth. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

  • Birth Details: Birth date, birth time (optional), and birth place (optional). These are used to generate your personalized chart and readings.
  • Partner Information: If you use the compatibility feature, you may provide a partner's name, birth date, birth time, and birth place.
  • Notification Preferences: If you enable reminders, we store your notification preference and the push token needed to deliver those reminders.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Which screens you visit, features you interact with, and general app usage patterns.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.
  • Crash Reports: If the app encounters an error, we collect diagnostic data to improve stability.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your precise GPS location.
  • We do not access your contacts, photos, or other device data.
  • We do not use facial recognition or biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. How We Store Your Data

  • Your data is stored on secure servers.
  • Birth details and chart data are associated with your account and encrypted in transit.
  • Passwords are stored using hashed and salted authentication credentials.
  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your personal data to train third-party AI models.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: View your birth details and chart information in the app's Profile section.
  • Correct: Update your birth details or display name at any time.
  • Delete: Delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Export: Contact us at privacy@velorainsights.com to request a copy of your data.

7. Children's Privacy

Velora is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
  • Hashed and salted password storage
  • Token-based authentication with expiration

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Velora after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
